Saw a phenomenal event celebrating authenticity and improv at the Magnet theater. Storytellers tell their coming out stories and improvisers make it all come to life in unexpected ways. It was moving and important and very funny and I was honored to be there and laugh about the real stuff, cause how else you gonna get through this life? Geoff Kidwell told his story and I have never been more proud of my friend. Thank You For Coming Out, thank you too.

Dubbs is the most engaging, open, nimble and enlightening learning partner I have worked with in my career. Dubbs brought us each on a journey of awareness and understanding: I was constructively challenged in my views, felt comfortable to ask questions, and left the session energized and able to activate what I had learned in my life. I was excited to see both immediate and ongoing impact in my organization as well. Our team members communicate more respectfully and openly, they enhance client work with what they have learned, and they are eager to learn more!

Dubbs brings so many gifts to their consulting and teaching and coaching—among them, impeccable listening skills, an open heart and mind, a genuine curiosity that leads them to ask incisive questions that inspire sharper clarity and purpose for the client, and warmth and humor that ease tension and push creativity. Dubbs also has a real knack for storytelling and an eye towards equity, inclusion, and visibility that informs all they do. They will help you grow as a human and as a leader, and they will bring tremendous value to your team and organization. And you’ll love working together. They have my highest endorsement.

Dubbs is truly an incredible educator and facilitator. I have been blessed to work with Dubbs on a number of things and I have always been impressed with the positive impact they make on those who get to learn from them. In sharing their story and bringing education to a place of understanding, and not shame, They have left not only myself, but my staff, with a fuller understanding of the world (and the folks who live in it). Dubbs uplifts the voices of the LGBTQIA+ Jewish community in a way that makes me excited to do the work I do. THANK YOU DUBBS!!!

Coming out stories are sometimes hard to tell, but they are very important to telland these stories unify and empower the LGBTQ Community. The cast of Thank You For Coming Out: An LGBTQ event skillfully took the story about my coming out to my high school students and turned it into a musical that humanized my experience. Their scenes and songs pulled at elements of my experience that we laughed at because we’ve all lived through some similar awkwardness. The comedy was hilarious because it based in reality and performed as a celebration of an awkward but human experience. This is one of my favorite shows at the Magnet Theater.

Dubbs produces the fucking daylights out of this show. The crowd is always packed with the warmest, most ready-to-laugh audience I've ever performed for. It's a true joy!

Thank You For Coming Out (TYFCO) is an inspiring showcase of LGBTQ camaraderie, advocacy, and comedic talent. What better way than applying the unequivocal support of improv to achieve this, fueled by TRUE and inherently-vulnerable coming-out stories, that together transform the Community's former trials into present day laughter. Every month, TYFCO stands as a rainbow-colored beacon that celebrates the spectrum of gender and sexuality, unleashing laughter and love that no closet can contain!
